RibCrib BBQ

Looking for a place for a late lunch and chose this RibCrib and we were glad we did. We were greeted with a friendly welcome and shown to our table. The waitress was very nice and helpful. I ordered the three rib dinner with beans and onion rings. My wife chose the super spud with the works topped with smoked brisket and bacon along with cheese butter and sour cream. Both meals were hot, and properly seasoned. The ribs were tender and I used a little original BBQ sauce. The beans were delicious and the onion rings were crispy and the texture of the onion was perfect. My wife is an expert when it comes to baked potatoes and came away saying this was the best baked potato she had in quite a long time. The butter and sour cream was worked throughout the potato and not overly salted with sea salt on the skin. The meat was well seasoned and the potato was very large making a complete meal. Overall the meal, service, and atmosphere was excellent.

This was always my fav Rib Crib in town, the hosts are great, the servers are always friendly and the food is delish, but when I went in last week I was so turned off by the supposed manager, Bobby's, behavior and treatment to the staff. I overheard and saw him talking down to young staff and bullying. I was so disturbed that I asked another server his name. It was appalling to hear and see how rude and unprofessional he was. I'm so disappointed because I won't go back and support a place who hires folks like that.

We walked in after the wrestling tournament happy we found RibCrib open only to be greeted VERY unwelcomely. The manager was very blunt about how unhappy she was with us coming in at 9:15 (closed at 10). She said we don’t have brisket, chicken or spuds! Then she cussed and said we have 15 minutes to eat and stormed around the restaurant angry. Our waiter was awesome! though. He couldn’t believe how she acted. Then another table came in and she told them the same. The food (that was available) was decent, the waiter was nice, but the manager was rude.

Worst food worst service. Group of managers had a meeting next to me and my kids. They all got fresh and hot food promptly. Me and my kids got two day old extremely burnt so bad you can't bite through and extremely cold meat scraps. The managers didn't flinch when my kids complained about the unedible food. I was complaining about why does the chef get fresh and hot food while we suffer. The chef had his own plate of food he was eating on the line as he prepared food, a very bad violation of health safety protocol. Managers didn't care at all. They never addressed the situation at all, just watched and acted like my family didn't matter. I will never forget how we were treated. Very bad business.

2023: price is up, size is down; quality still as fickle as the wind. Since the death of rib crib original owner their business model continues to strangle workers for mediocre food. The only reason to continue to support this location is Charpelle in the kitchen who after more than a decade continues to be a prime example of the American dream. Excellence 2016. If you haven't been here this year, you are really doing yourself a disservice. The new managers have really turn the store around. With an emphasis on quality and amazing service I have never been happier with this Rib Crib. The few issues I have had with quality were swiftly and happily fixed by the staff. They made sure I was 100% happy before I left.

Went here with my family on the 10th of November, around 730pm. I had called ahead to see the wait times and the woman who answered the phone was very responsive, but did hang up before taking my name. When we arrived at the establishment, the receptionist was doing a very good job on handling the other customers and quickly guided my party to our table. While we were waiting to be seated, there was no bartender at the bar, and other customers stating they had been waiting 30 minutes without any service at the bar. Our server was Victor. Victor was very slow, took a long time to even get our drink orders, never checked on us during the meal when 2 out of 3 rib servings were cold, and did not provide silverware until we asked a second time. Management was also nowhere to be found, not helping with coverage. But the food was absolutely amazing. I would definitely recommend this place for barbecue, but definitely order ahead, and for takeout, not dine in.
